Morning Again….

December 30, 2010

… And my back is killing me.

Well not killing in the sense that I cant move it is just stiff and sore. And when you couple that with my arms being of the same nature well you have a slow and stiff me. LOL

I know I shouldnt have done all the things that I did in the one day. I realize that now but I keep thinking that this week is going to be over soon and there is still so much I would like to accomplish before i head back to the office grind stone.

Yesterday I managed to help my friend move tvs around (she bought a new one) And then move the one that my kids bought off her across the street. Plus the tv stand to go with it. That thing was a beast. The tv not the stand, the tv took like four of us to move it across. Old and heavy! But it looks nice in the basement right now. The kids will be able to play video games and watch movies down there without having to worry about anything. (yay! I dont have to watch a gazillion episodes of Hannah Montanna anymore!).

Then AJ was given a new bed. So i had to carry that over from across the street. Up three flights of stairs and then move the old one down to the garage. Fun. Oh and I had to put one together and take the other apart.

Then there was a bunch of hook racks that I had to put up. The one in the front hall had to be assembled first. Those were no biggies really.

Then I cleaned out the linen closet and the broom closet.

Did I mention the 6 loads of laundry I did while doing this all? Or that this was all after one in the afternoon because I took them all out to the mall in the morning?

Gah. My backs aching. And I promised the kids I would take them to the Royal Ontario Museum to see the Terra Cotta Warriors today with my grandma.

Me with a bad back and arms.
Three kids under the age of 13.
One 90 year old lady.
A subway from uptown to downtown and back again.
The ROM.

What better way to spend the day!

Until Tomorrow…

I’ve been following your blog since you started. You have made amazing progress. This site is an inspiration for all pursuing a long transition versus the big chop.
