Productive Day!

So I totally had a productive day yesterday. I got a lot of things accomplished that I wanted to get done. I also think I made an impression on my children that I wasnt having their current attitude about things carry on a day longer. Its amazing how they think I didnt hear them coming down the stairs and stop half way listening to what I was telling Dad about how it was either shape up or I wont be taking them to piano anymore. Its amazing how their attitudes changed and they started pitching in with the things that they had to get done. I didnt have to tell them to do it. They just started cleaning their rooms and the play room. And they even did the things that they should have been doing around the house otherwise.

For me I ended up chatting this morning with my friend who is working on the cover to my book. We discussed some of the other cover ideas I had by way of the font styles for my name as well as the images I wanted to include on the cover.

Then I sat down and made my girlfriend at works daughter a shrug to go over her party dress for her birthday party. I am also going to make her a set of leg warmers so that she had something matching it to wear another time. Never know when you are going to need leg warmers. 🙂 but that will wait for another day in the week. So long as I am done before the weekend I got it made 🙂

I also got a lot done friday night by way of the website I am putting together for my book series. It is looking really nice if I do say so myself. Really starting to look forward to seeing where this lovely adventure takes me.

Other than that I got some writing done last night and relaxed some.

Today is going to be a nice day. Got my groceries to buy and then I get to spend the afternoon with my dear husband sans kids. We dont often get to have the afternoon to ourselves so we are totally looking forward to it. We have to get my picture done for the book and then we are going to go and see a movie while the kids are out at a birthday party. Then in the evening I get to do more studying with my other friend.

So the long and short of it all is it is going to be another hopefully productive day today as well!
