And I feel better.

Nothing quite like bushwacking and long trails through the forest to make me feel whole again. Nature does that for me. Something about the calm peace of a babbling creek that makes it all right again.

Friday we went to piano and took the long road home. Nice long walk.
Saturday we ran errands and went to church. Then in the evening darling husband and I went for a walk and reset a few of our geocaches that needed to be taken care of. On the way I found what I am now calling the fairy patch in a park nearby the house. It was filled with fireflies. Going to have to show the girls one night soon! And then a quick trip to Walmart before headed home.

Sunday was a big day as we geocached for most of the afternoon in Centennial Park. We picked off most of the caches in the south western end of the park and saw a bunch wildlife and even got “buzzed” by a pair of F-18s as they headed home to the airport after opening the Indy.

Home again and tired out. But sated. I think I can make it through my week with the promise of more good things to come.

Today I start my driving lessons. I’m nervous and excited all at once. Let’s see how this goes 🙂

Until tomorrow…
