Sunshine!!

Its Bright!
Its Sunny!
And Mother Nature is playing a cruel joke on all of us.

As happy as I am to see the sun after almost a full week of yucky rain I cant believe how cold it is out there. I mean its only the end of October and four out of five of us are wearing our winter jackets already. (The man is stubborn what else can I say?) And to make matters worse. The leaves havent yet fallen off the trees so I havent covered my flower beds properly for the winter. So that is something that I am going to have to get on doing this weekend and just cope with what I have. Also have to seal up the windows, vaccum the heaters and prepar the house in general to turn the heating on. At least its almost november and we dont have to worry so much about the high energy bills. The good news here is that I get to rev up the oven without much grumbles from my peoples as it will help to keep the house warm as well as keeping their tummies full! Win win situation here!

Halloween pumpkins need to be painted (we paint ours as we wash them off afterwards and cook them for pies etc!) Also have to finish getting their costumes ready for Halloween. I have one and a half scarves done. Need one more scarf and thats that. The robes for the kids are done. Just have to make the hubbys and mine. We also have to get our wands from the local park and make them ready.

And thats WITH all the usual normal routines I have to go through this weekend. Should be an interesting one to say the least! Ahh well. Never a dull moment in my world. 🙂
