Happy Halloween!!

So I FINALLY did it.

I am currently sitting here at my desk at work in a pair of Jammies and housecoat, with a huge fuzzy pair of slippers on my feet.

I am warm as toast and comfy as all heck.

Only on Halloween could I pull a stunt like this. Even the big boss smiled when she saw me. Thankfully I am not the only one in costume today and this makes me smile. 🙂

Halloween is a time for fun and enjoyment. It is a time when you get to be a kid again even if it is only for a day. Dress up and have a little fun in your life.

Two of my kids took off in Black & Orange this morning to celebrate Black & Orange Day. Their school does not allow costumes anymore. It frustrates me but Im not going to get into that debate here. The biggest one was able to take a costume to school with her today. Thankfully so she is satisfied that she will be dressed up.

Tonight the three of them are going as students of Hogwarts. I based my sorting on the same criteria that the Sorting Hat would and came up with one from each Ravenclaw, Sytherin and Hufflepuff. Their costumes are handmade and look pretty decent actually. I finished their house scarves last night and washed them all up so that they would be all soft for them tonight. They will look pretty good when all is said and done I think.
