A New Year…

January 3, 2012

I have spent the last 10 days enjoying the company of the people who matter the most in my world.

I have spent a small fortune on gas, food and presents.

I have driven over 1500 kilometers.

I have cooked, ate and toasted.

I have visited, hugged and laughed.

I have rode a horse and snow-boated

But most of all I did the one thing I set out to do during my 10 days home. I recharged my batteries and am ready to face the new year and all of its trials head on. My heart is full and my head is clear. Life is once again is within my reach and I ready for it.

2012 is going to be a year of more triumphs for us. They may be big or may be small but we will triumph. Things will be done like never before. We will go farther, play harder and laugh longer. If there is one thing I have learned in these last 10 days that I will carry through this year is this. Life is too short to be stressed and worried all the time.

So heres to the new year.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

May God be with you and bless you:
May you see your children’s children.
May you be poor in misfortune,
Rich in blessings.
May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward.

May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home
And may the hand of a friend always be near.

May green be the grass you walk on,
May blue be the skies above you,
May pure be the joys that surround you,
May true be the hearts that love you.

Until Tomorrow…
