Goals for 2012 ~ Master List
I realized last time I talked about my goals for 2012 that I had only written out three of my goals for 2012. Well the two major have tos and one want tos. So I am going to better catagorize my goals and clarify them some. Why bother telling all of you? Well if you all kow about them the less likely I am to back out of them 🙂
HAVE TO GOALS;
-Reduce Consumer Debt. Already working on consolidating everything to bring the monthly payments and interest rates down on what we already owe. There are a couple of biggies coming up with the van and repairs we are trying to work into our consolidation as well so that we are already ahead of the game and not going to end up heaping more back onto our shoulders. The hardest part is not getting back into that hole again anytime soon. That means living within our means and  building up what I would like to call a WTF Happened Fund for those emergencies that life loves to throw at us.  That means a budget and sticking to it.
-Finish Accounting Diploma. This above everything else seems to be the hardest thing for me to accomplish. I do my accounting all day every day and it is really hard for me to come home and do more. But I am going to have to get with the program. I only have 10 more units left to go so there is no excuses except my own procrastination.
WANT TO GOALS;
-Read 12 books, and I mean 12 of the novels that have been piling up around my ears since I have gone back to work full time. I just started my most recent acquisition 11/22/63 by Stephen King. Already a couple of chapters in on it. Seems like a good read so far.
-Blog on a schedule. For that I mean Monday to Friday I write this blog and do the Sunday Night Chit Chat. And my other more informative blog gets updated every sunday – religiously. I am already behind here but thats alright I will get it caught up this weekend.
-Get my craft business off the ground. I have already made a commitment to getting myself into the Made By Hand Show in April. I have started really putting a dent in the things I need to make there but still have a long way to go.
-Finish writing the rough drafts of books three and four of the series that is coming out this spring. I have seriously slacked hard on these books. I wont tell you when I started writing them but put it this way it wasnt last year.
-Plan Out and Complete Christmas shopping/crafting by November 1. This is a lofty goal I have every year. I hate the malls at christmas so I tend to avoid them. I would however like to be done my shopping/crafting etc by the beginning of November so that I can go through NaNoWriMo not worrying about what I am not getting done in time for christmas because I am writing like a maniac.
-Join the YMCA. Ever since I quit smoking I realize I need to get off my tush and get exercising. I am hoping that swimming and using the track will help strengthen my legs and make the bad days less and less.
So there be my lofty plans for the year. Heres hoping I dont stumble along the way! Off to work I go!
Until tomorrow…
Those are great goals, but I think you have too many of them.. I wouldn’t have more than 3 in each category, and that’s still a lot! Good luck to you!
Awesome goals!! Good luck! 🙂
