Sunday Night Chit-Chat

June 24, 2012

Its been a really long time since I blogged at Sunday Night Chit Chat so here goes!

These lovely ladies earned their yellow stripe belts in TaeKwonDo early Saturday morning and we couldnt be prouder of them.

Well I am still reading 11/22/63 but i havent really been reading this much. I have however completed the following books…

Hunger Games. Catching Fire. Mocking Jay. Go Ask Alice. Two Princesses of Banares.

At the moment I am watching the TV show Lost from start to finish with the hubby. I have learned one thing about TV shows. I enjoy watching them in quick succession rather than one episode a week.

Listening to…

The hum of the air conditioner behind me and Lost playing on the TV

We went strawberry picking at Downeys Farm this afternoon and brought home two massive buckets full of strawberries. I have been making strawberry jam from them. And we had these awesome strawberry milkshakes too.  So everything strawberry is what I am making at the moment!

Happy you accomplished…

It has been a busy weekend. I did however manage to get all of my chores done Friday evening so I could enjoy my weekend in peace.

Looking forward to next week…

I dont know that I have too much going as it stands for the moment. Aside from Canada Day festivities and one dinner out I dont know that I have too much going on at the moment as far as things to do.  Which will be nice I think.

Thankful for today…

My Baby. And no I dont mean my hubby or kids this time. I am referring to the purple bucket of bolts in my driveway. Having her around has made our lives a whole lot more interesting. We go and do so many different things now a days and the kids are enjoying the new adventures we go on.

*bonus question*

What is the WORST movie you’ve ever seen & couldn’t be paid to watch again?

“The Madness of King George.” Honestly. Should have been a good movie. Could have been but it wasnt anything like what I was expecting.
