Project 365~ Days One to Seven

Day One

June 1, 2010

This is what is staring at me at the moment. The fact that it is staring at me right now makes me wonder why in God’s name I decided to do this photo journal of sorts. I barely have time to update my blog as it is. But I guess in my mind I am thinking this would motivate me to update more often and my faithful readers will get a chance to see into my world. So sit back and enjoy the ride, we still have 364 more days to go!

Day Two

June 2, 2010

My Desk at work. Not surprising to see where my mind actually is even though I am at work. I honestly remember thinking that I would never be able to handle being a Stay At Home Mom when I lost my job four and a half years ago. But in those four and a half years I found things to do, people to go out with and most of all I got used to being around with my girls all day. I loved it. Now I find myself back in the full time workforce and I find myself missing the four and a half years that I had. And I make sure that I give myself every opportunity to remember all the good times.

Day Three

June 3, 2010

This is one of my furry four-legged children. I have raised Smokie since she was three weeks old and as a result I think that she thinks that I am her mother. She is a tireless companion to me in the evening once the kids have gone to bed. My lap is her spot and no one else dare to try and convince her otherwise.

Day Four

June 4, 2010

I call this one “Rose at Dusk”. The mini rose I paid the least amount of money for never ceases to amaze me at its beauty. I am not too hooked on the flash in this picture but I will be sure to have more of my roses as the summer wears on!

Day Five

June 5, 2010

I decided to take a better picture in the day light of the same rose from yesterday. One thing I will never get tired of is my garden. I have it for only a few months out of the year and yet it brings me so much joy.

Day Six

June 6, 2010

More of the roses in my garden. You know it is funny. They told me when I moved in here that nothing would grow properly because we didnt get enough sunshine. Funny that, guess these are figment of my imagination. Pretty figments at that.

Day Seven

June 7, 2010

This is my “son”, Thomas. He is the brother of my dear Smokie. He is another of my faithful night companions. He is the protector of my lot of animals. He will watch over anyone in the house who is sick, although I am not sure what he would do if they needed help, but he is certainly there for moral support!
